Description
Kantha stitch is an embroidery technique used by rural women in Bengal. It involves using a running stitch to create floral, animal or geometric motifs on items such as quilts and clothing. Here some California poppy flower motifs have been hand created in a similar style, and then turned into a pattern digitally.
